AI apparel images
for Google Shopping.
Google asks for clothing to be shown worn by people — and, for images made with generative AI, for a metadata tag saying so. Atelier Noir does both: on-model frames, and an export that adds the tag Google names.

Every frame in the studio has an “Export for a marketplace” button: it upscales the frame 2×, fits it to Google Shopping’s size on a white background and, if you tick it, adds the AI-image label to the file metadata. Free with every plan.
- •The Google export ticks the AI-image label by default, because Merchant Center requires it for generative-AI images. Don't strip metadata afterwards.
- •For the main image keep the garment large in frame on a plain set; styled sets suit the additional images.
- 1Generate frames on a plain set for the main image.
- 2Export → Google Shopping (1500 × 1500, AI label on).
- 3Upload through Merchant Center; keep the file's metadata intact.
- 4Use styled frames as additional images.
What metadata does Google require for AI images?+
Google names the IPTC DigitalSourceType value TrainedAlgorithmicMedia. The Atelier Noir export writes exactly that into the file's XMP metadata.
Does the label show on the image?+
No — it is invisible metadata inside the file.
Must apparel be shown on a person?+
Google asks for clothing to be shown worn by people — which is what on-model frames are for.
