The most common
things people ask.

The questions we are asked most, in five categories. If yours is not here, write to hello@ateliernoir.ai — a person from the studio replies by email.

Getting started

How do I open an atelier?+

Go to /signup, type your house name and email, then choose a plan — from €29 a month. Your frames are ready the moment the payment goes through.

Is there a free trial?+

No — instead, every plan comes with a fourteen-day refund. If Atelier Noir does not replace your next shoot, write to hello@ateliernoir.ai and we refund you.

How long does my first generation take?+

Usually a few minutes for a full set of frames. Clips take about three minutes each.

Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes, from Billing → Invoices & payment method. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Brand kits & models

How do I lock my brand kit?+

Go to /studio/brand-kits and create a new kit: palette, models and mood. Every campaign can then start from it.

Can I use my own model?+

Yes. When you start a campaign you can upload a photo of your own model instead of picking one from the library. For a full digital twin of your house model, write to us — we need a signed consent from the person.

What is a house model?+

The model you choose for your whole catalogue. Set it in the Model library; new campaigns and collection batches use it by default.

Can I use a photo of our own model?+

Yes, with their signed consent. The upload asks for a photo or scan of the signed form — a printable template is at /legal/model-consent.

Do you train shared models on my data?+

Never. Your photos, brand kits and uploaded models stay in your atelier. See /privacy and /licensing.

Billing & plans

What is a frame and what is a clip credit?+

A frame is one finished editorial image. Clip credits pay for video: Reveal uses 1, Motion 2, 360° turn 2, Runway 3. Every plan includes a monthly allowance of both.

What is the size range?+

One click on a finished campaign shows the same garment on four body types — petite, slender, curvy and plus size (or four men's builds). It uses 4 frames.

What does the quality check do?+

Each frame is compared with your product photo. If the garment, hands, face or added text look wrong, the frame is flagged and its credit is returned automatically.

Can I export for Zalando or Amazon?+

Yes. Every frame has an Export for a marketplace button with the official sizes for Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, Zalando, eBay and Google Shopping, and an optional AI-image label in the file metadata.

What is Atelier Touch?+

Human retouching by our team on any frame: Atelier Touch (€2.90) cleans hands, details and colour; Atelier Touch Couture (€7.90) adds skin, hair, fabric texture and one round of your corrections. Delivered within 48 hours. Couture includes 10 a month, Maison 25, Maison Privée 60.

What is the lookbook film?+

Once a campaign has two or more clips, one click joins them into a single vertical 9:16 film with your brand name at the end — free.

Can I send images to Shopify?+

Yes. Connect your store in Settings → Integrations with a custom-app Admin API token (read_products, write_products), then use Send to Shopify on any frame.

Is there an API?+

Yes — create a key in Settings → API & webhooks and see /docs. Usage counts against your plan like the studio.

What happens if I run out mid-month?+

Buy extra frames or clip credits in Billing, at your plan’s price per unit (from €0.39 a frame and €0.99 a clip on Indie, less on larger plans). Extras never expire. We never upgrade you without asking.

Do unused frames roll over?+

The monthly allowance refills on your renewal date and does not roll over. Extras you bought stay until you use them.

Can I change plans?+

Yes, from Billing. The new plan starts immediately with its full allowance; the previous subscription is closed and pro-rated.

Do you offer annual discounts?+

Yes. Annual plans are billed as ten months — two months free — and your allowance still refills every month.

Quality & support

What if I am not happy with the generation?+

Failed frames and clips are returned to your balance automatically. If a result is off, email hello@ateliernoir.ai with the campaign link and we look at why.

How do I contact support?+

Email hello@ateliernoir.ai. A real person at our atelier replies.
