Virtual try-on

Virtual try-on is technology that shows a garment on a person who never wore it — either the shopper, or a model in a product photo.

Also called: VTON · AI try-on

There are two kinds. Shopper-facing try-on puts clothes on the customer's own photo or camera feed. Brand-facing try-on — what product-photo tools do — dresses a model in the brand's garment to produce catalogue images.

The hard part is keeping the garment faithful: the same cut, colour, print, buttons and length, rather than a lookalike the model invented.

In Atelier Noir

Atelier Noir is brand-facing: it dresses AI models in your garment for product pages, campaigns and video. Each frame is checked against the product photo for garment changes.
